He added: “36% of the budget is allocated to civil transportation, which is close to 40%, and its unit size is high, and the number of socio-cultural budgets is considered low, and I think the type of comparison between the two sectors is wrong.”
The mayor of Tehran emphasized: Of course, it should not be forgotten that many behaviors and problems related to transportation can be corrected with cultural work without any disruption. The mayor of Tehran, pointing out that culture is a basic issue in all issues, including economics, said: “If we can teach people about waste and proper consumption by creating culture, vulnerability in the field of economy will definitely decrease.”
Regarding the budget of Tehran Municipality, he said: 50 thousand and 370 billion Tomans of budget has been considered, 36% of which is related to transportation and its number is not comparable with other sectors, and issues for salaries, debts and other issues in opnions have been asked.
He stressed: “The view of the council and urban management is a central issue of justice, and the council and the municipality have carefully considered the distribution of resources, and God willing, with transparency and the creation of a single treasury, it is possible to master more financial matters.”
Zakani said: “If there is transparency, the speed of growth and development in the city will increase and we are trying to distribute resources fairly. This is the cornerstone of change in the city.”
The mayor of Tehran pointed out: The treasury fund is intended to deposit the accounts approved by the council and there is aristocracy over financial matters through this. Act within the framework of the law, and in my opinion, the single treasury fund also prevents the waste of resources and brings transparency.
