Offer to reduce tolls in the southern neighborhoods of Tehran

According to Fars News Agency’s urban correspondent, Mehdi Pirhadi, head of the Health, Environment and Urban Services Commission of the Islamic Council of Tehran, said in front of the city council today about examining an urgent bill on how to obtain the claims of Tehran Municipality: The city should include more discounts for the southern regions in this bill.

He added: “In the relevant commissions, this proposal should be further examined so that a 35 or 40% discount can be considered for the southern areas of the capital and we can see a leap in the southern areas, especially in worn-out areas.”

Pirhadi stated that worn-out tissues are one of our main concerns in the council today: “I hope we will take measures based on incentive policies to lead to the renovation of worn-out tissues.”

The head of the Health, Environment and Urban Services Commission of the Islamic Council of Tehran, pointing out that in the past month, when this amount of discount was approved, proper information was not provided, said: One of the issues that Mr. Saremi and our colleagues in the municipality Tehran should be careful that it also works on media issues.

He emphasized: only people who referred to the municipality noticed these discounts and other people who did not visit the municipality in person, are unaware of this issue.
