According to Mehr News Agency, Mahmoud Karimi Biranvand stated in a TV interview: In the 13th government, we identified illegal citizens; During the same period, 20,000 illegal nationals were identified and 7,000 were replaced.
Deputy Minister of Employment and Entrepreneurship of the Ministry of Cooperatives, Labor and Social Welfare added: 3,000 joint patrols and 25,000 labor inspections have been carried out in the 13th government.
Pointing out that the desire of employers to make more profit is one of the reasons for employing the labor force of citizens, he said: .
Biranvand continued: “Our estimate of foreign nationals working in Iran is about one million and 300 thousand people, of which about 300 thousand have a work permit and the rest are working without a license.”
He stressed: “If the system’s policy is to identify illegal citizens, we will pursue this.”
