Operation of Asphalt Factory “Number One” of Tehran Municipality in Garmdara

According to Fars report, Abbas Shabani announced that the asphalt plant number one of the Tehran Municipality Engineering and Civil Engineering Organization will be put into operation on Saturday, July 10, at the same time as the 60th Omid and Eftekhar event, with the presence of the mayor of Tehran, stating: a group of municipal managers and several members The Tehran Islamic Council will be present at the operation of this plan.

Stating that this factory is located in the west of Tehran and in the area of ​​Garmdara, he reminded: Municipal asphalt factory number one was built on a land of 2000 square meters, at the beginning of which geotechnical tests were required, and then the grounding and paving of the land with rolled concrete. It was done so that the foundation of the factory can be implemented, and after the implementation, it has passed the hot test process and its production performance has been checked and tested.

Shabani stated that the area of ​​roads in Tehran is 110 square kilometers, equivalent to 15% of the total area of ​​Tehran, and added: if we consider the useful life of asphalt to be nearly 10 years, every year 10% of the area of ​​the capital’s roads, equivalent to 11 square kilometers, needs to be resurfaced with asphalt. they need.

Referring to the thickness of seven centimeters per square meter of asphalt, he stated: Considering this volume, the restoration of Tehran’s roads will require one and a half million tons of asphalt annually.

The head of Technical Deputy of Tehran Municipality stated that in the past decade, the amount of asphalt spread and implemented on the roads of the capital has not exceeded 500 to 600,000 tons annually, and noted that this annual average, which of course is supported by the asphalt factories of the Engineering and Civil Organization and The purchase from the private sector has been achieved, indicating a delay of 10 million tons in asphalt production; Therefore, considering the importance of road improvement projects in Tehran city, the city management decided to set up the number one asphalt factory in the west of Tehran.

Announcing that this factory is made by Beninghoven, Germany, he said: This production unit is capable of producing all kinds of asphalt mixes, including Topka, Binder, and Dubine, with a nominal capacity of 240 tons per hour. The height of the tower structure of this factory is more than 30 meters and includes five general sections: foundation, sand, hot material silo, mixer and discharge shooting.

Referring to the construction of the factory with the assembly and transportation of three thousand parts, Shabani reminded: Considering that this factory has a filter of 920 square meters and 780 filter bags, the amount of suspended particles coming out of it is at the lowest possible level and less than 20 PPM and the amount of sound pollution of each of these units is less than 60 decibels.
