Director General of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts of Gilan Province added: Considering the special view of the high official of the Ministry on this issue, handling the condition of restrooms and prayer halls in the province is of special importance and should be given more attention.
Emphasizing on the installation of sanitary service signs through the cities on the main routes of passenger traffic, he reminded: cleaning, hygiene and providing the necessary facilities for prayer halls, paying attention to the heating and cooling system, repairing and maintaining hygiene of sanitary services and having a committed attendant. It is one of the things that should be followed seriously in follow-ups and monitoring visits.
Jahani stated that the number of roadside sanitary facilities in the province is more than 200 and said: priority should be given to equipping and renovating the prayer rooms and sanitary facilities of the entrance routes of the province, which are mostly on the route of travelers and tourists.
Director General of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts of Gilan Province also pointed to the follow-up of sanitary services in the way of tourism destinations and sample areas of the province and stated: Feasibility and needs assessment of the exact location of sanitary services is on the agenda.
