According to Mehr news agency, Alireza Abdi visited the only local literacy learning center of the province in District 1 during his trip to Khorasan Razavi province.
On the sidelines of this visit, the head of the Literacy Movement Organization stated: Local learning centers have a suitable capacity to reduce social harms through holding skill and professional workshops.
He clarified: the program tiny Professional workshops tailored to the conditions and needs of the region in local learning centers lead to job creation for literate students, most of whom are from the vulnerable sections of the society.
The head of the Literacy Movement organization stated: Our main goal in the literacy movement is to end basic illiteracy in the shortest possible time and by the end of the 13th government and move towards a new definition of literacy and skill literacy.
He mentioned about the local learning centers: one of the best places that can help to combine literacy and skills is the local training and development centers that we should develop these local centers with a new design.
While appreciating the efforts of the director and trainers of Narjes Local Learning Center, Abdi emphasized on strengthening the education of cultural issues in accordance with the current conditions of the society and added: teaching life skills and citizenship rights along with basic literacy reduces the vulnerability of low-educated and illiterate people.
