According to the Arya Heritage Report, citing the public relations of the General Directorate of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts of West Azerbaijan, Morteza Safari announced this on 18 December 1401: The capacities of the province in the field of tourism, cultural heritage and handicrafts are very great, but unfortunately, these capacities have not been transformed from potential to actual. We are trying to turn them into a job-creating area by completing various processes in three areas.

The Director General of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts of West Azarbaijan stated that woodworking, carpet weaving and leather embroidery are among the important capacities of the province in the field of handicrafts, adding: the most important missing link in handicrafts is the low profit margin of these works, which makes this field not as profitable as it should be. .

He continued: It is considered that with the aim of marketing in the field of handicrafts, by holding suitable exhibitions in high-traffic places and creating opportunities for the presence of the province’s artists in national exhibitions, it is possible to provide a basis for selling products.
