In this regard, the head of the Karaj Car Dealers Union told Tejarat News: The car market is stagnant. Sales are not booming. The increase in car prices in the first week of January does not make sense, and it is predicted that the car will not become more expensive during this period.

Hamid Karimi explained: People are waiting for cheap cars. As long as the car price trend is volatile, car sales will stop.

He continued: car imports are practically locked. Even during this period, exhibitors can not afford to buy a car. Some people are also waiting for the outcome of the negotiations. Others disrupt the market by spreading rumors.

The car market is booming

While the process of buying and selling Iranian and foreign cars has stopped, Firooz Naderi, a car exhibitor, says: “Due to the increase in car prices on the eve of Nowruz, the market is booming.” Iranian cars have maintained an upward trend for the past month.

Earlier, Saeed Motameni, president of the Automobile Exhibitors Union, told the Journalists’ Club: “It is unlikely that we will have an increase in car prices by the end of this year.”
