According to Tejarat News, Khashayar Bagharpour, the CEO of Tehran Construction Cooperatives Union, said about the plans being implemented by the union: Our policy in the union is to focus on domestic capacities first because we believe that the future of our national income will not be based on oil and the industry Tourism will be its replacement industry. Currently, the tourism infrastructure in our country is not complete and we are not ready to enter this space in the international arena, therefore, a special plan has been made in the Union for the development of the tourism industry and we have also had discussions with the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Tourism in this regard. Currently, several hotels are being built in Kish, Qeshm, Mashhad, Ardabil, Kermanshah, Karaj and Tehran by the companies covered by the union, and other projects are being designed and planned and are being added.
He continued: Our country has a high tourism potential, and if we compare it with a country like Turkey, which has several billions in income from its tourism industry alone, we have potential capacities that have not yet been realized, and one of the reasons is the lack of infrastructure.
The focus of investment should be removed from the housing sector
The CEO of Tehran Construction Cooperatives and Mass Development Union stated that we should have special planning in all aspects of this field and emphasized: As an activist in the construction industry, the union is ready to participate in productive and development-oriented projects with public participation and capital. Attracting tourists and managing the tourism industry should also be done in the best way by the trustees so that both the people’s capitals get high added value and the focus is removed from investing only in the housing sector.
Hotel construction and hospital construction is a suitable alternative for people’s investment
Bagharpour believes that the biggest pest in the housing market is that housing is seen as a capital good instead of a consumer product, while if we have an alternative for people to invest in the housing sector, people would invest in hotel construction and hospital construction instead of housing. , they invest in the development of industrial towns and commercial and economic free zones, and with this work, sustainable development and income are created in the country.
He said: “Currently, if we double the number of hospital beds, our hospital beds per capita are one-eighth of an advanced country like Germany, so we should invest in the direction of construction in sectors such as buildings and hospitals. In addition to this issue, we should also plan for the consumption needs of the housing market.
In the end, the CEO of the Union of Construction and Mass Development Cooperatives of Tehran, referring to the high capacities of the cooperative sector in the country, said: “Cooperation is one of the three pillars of the country’s economy, which is progressing with people’s participation.” In principles 43 and 44 of the Constitution and the general policies of principle 44, there are also indicators for the promotion of the cooperative sector and an independent law for the cooperative sector. The top documents of the system and the development document of the cooperative sector have also compiled the objectives of this sector; Therefore, if we can bring the cooperative sector to a 25% share in the national economy and 50% of the total housing produced in the country is done by the cooperative sector in the form of mass construction and construction cooperatives, the cooperative will achieve its rightful place in the economy.
