Regarding the numerous criminal cases created in the field of cryptocurrencies, the Attorney General said: “The issue of cryptocurrencies has become a harm in society and many people get involved in the matter regardless of the consequences.”

He added: “We have had correspondence with the Central Bank and the parliament regarding the need to determine the task in this area, but the task in this area is still unknown.”

Montazeri continued: “My request to the people is that they do not enter this battle until the issue of Ramzarz has been determined from the perspective of the law.”

The Attorney General also stated about the case of Aziviko: The fact that several cases have been filed in several jurisdictions, it is necessary for these cases to be gathered in one place and the status of this case to be determined.

He added: “We decided to appoint one of the judges in the General Prosecutor’s Office to investigate this case, so that if it is possible to consolidate the cases, the cases will be consolidated, and if not, we will request a transfer and the cases will be transferred.”

Montazeri expressed hope that the case would reach concrete results within the next one or two months.

In the end, referring to the criticism of the proposal of the head of the judiciary regarding alternative punishments to imprisonment, the Attorney General said: “This plan is only a proposal from the head of the judiciary and should be examined from an expert point of view.” However it seems like a very good suggestion and is debatable.
