Poll: 58% of Americans disapprove of Biden’s performance

According to IRNA on Saturday, the latest CNN poll shows a further decline in Biden’s popularity as President of the United States. While about 60 percent of Americans said they did not accept his performance, only 41 percent expressed satisfaction with Biden.

A similar poll conducted in December found that 51 percent of Americans disapprove of Biden’s performance and only 49 percent agree with his performance.

In a new CNN poll, only 39 percent of independents and 9 percent of Republicans accepted Biden as president. Eighty-three percent of Democrats said Biden’s performance was acceptable, but that number dropped from last summer’s poll. In a summer poll, 94 percent of Democrats said they accepted Biden’s performance as president.

The Biden administration is facing increasing criticism across all political spectrums due to inflation, the way the Corona virus is managed and foreign policy. He has responded to such criticism by trying to get his infrastructure plan approved and by launching an extensive vaccination program across the United States, but he has not been able to make up for the decline in his job popularity.

Poor polls have prompted Democrats to sound the alarm about midterm congressional elections in November. They have warned that Biden’s low level of job popularity could lead to a Republican re-election victory in both the House and Senate.

In the 2010 midterm elections, similar concerns led Republicans to gain control of both houses. In January 2010, Americans also had a controversy over the first term of Barack Obama’s presidency. Fifty-seven percent of Americans now say Biden’s first year in office has failed.

The CNN poll was conducted with the participation of 1,527 American adults between January 10 and February 6 (January 10 to February 6) with an error rate of 3.3 percent.
