Prediction of a 20% increase in traffic in Tehran / the story of new appointments in the municipality

According to the report of Fars news agency’s urban reporter, Mehdi Chamran, on the sidelines of the Tehran City Council, told reporters about the appointments in the Tehran Municipality: The council should not interfere in the appointments of the municipality and only gives advice.

Chamran stated that the school re-opening headquarters held meetings with the members of the council, education and traffic police and made the necessary planning and said: We will witness heavy traffic in the first days of Mehr because after two years of schools It will be reopened and traffic will increase by at least 20%.
Referring to the effect of changing the working hours of employees in rush hour traffic, he said: This issue can have an effect on traffic, but it will not have much effect on Tehran’s heavy traffic.
