Preparation of Hafez’s tomb for the commemoration of this famous poet



According to the Arya Heritage report, citing the public relations of the General Department of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts of Fars Province, Seyed Moayed Mohsennejad said: the cultural and historical complex of Hafez Tomb is due to its position and importance in the national and international dimensions in terms of the presence of officials and domestic and foreign tourists. Yes, it has been constantly receiving the attention of the relevant officials and is ready to host such programs, but the opportunity to hold the Hafez Day commemoration ceremony also makes it possible to eliminate some of the shortcomings.

The Director General of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts of Fars Province added: organizing electrical facilities, painting ponds and different parts, organizing sound system, lighting, welding and increasing trash cans, designing green space and completely cleaning the surrounding area of ​​this place as part of the measures for This ceremony has been organized as best as possible.

Regarding Hafez Day commemoration ceremony, Mohsen Nejad said: Hafez Day commemoration ceremony will be held near Hafez Courthouse with the presence of senior national and provincial officials, people of culture, poets and a group of domestic and foreign literati.

He continued: Also, an exhibition of art works of artisans will be held in Hafez’s tomb, which will be visited by those interested.

Director General of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts of Fars Province said: In this exhibition, witness the unveiling of two magnificent works of Fars handicrafts, including the construction of a 2-meter high replica of Hafez’s tomb made of inlaid wood by master artist Rasul Mardani Beldaji and the construction of a 2-meter replica of Masjid al-Nabi made of inlaid wood. At 3 meters, we will be represented by the master artist Masoud Shirazi, as well as setting up 20 handicraft exhibition booths in various fields of handicrafts and introducing the life of Fars nomads in the form of a nomadic black tent.

He added: With the participation of the General Department of Culture and Islamic Guidance of Fars, from last night until October 18th, programs of scientific lectures are being held for the general visitors at the Hafez Tomb, and every day from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, calligraphers and We are implementing the calligraphy program of Hafez’s poems.

Khwaja Shamsuddin Muhammad, nicknamed Khwaja Hafez Shirazi and known as Lasan al-Ghaib, was born in Shiraz in 726 AH.

This famous poet mastered many religious and literary sciences of his time in his youth and became one of the famous scholars of his country. During this period, in addition to his deep scientific and literary collection, he also memorized the Qur’an completely, and hence he named himself Hafiz.

This famous lyricist passed away in Shiraz in 791 AH.
