According to the Mehr news agency, quoted by Sima information platform, Mohsen Barmahani, vice president of Sima, said about the coverage of the World Cup games in Qatar: National media, by purchasing the broadcast rights, will cover 64 World Cup games by sending a team of reporters, presenters, and technical and production agents. Sima’s deputy added: “In the past, Sima’s World Cup special programs were limited to the channels related to this, but the difference of this period is that the reflection of other aspects of the World Cup is also on the agenda of other networks and public programs of Sima.”
He announced the detailed preparation of TV channels 3 and Sports and added: 3 TV channel has dedicated half of its 24-hour broadcast schedule to deal with this great event and will be with football fans from around noon to dawn.
The vice president of Sima clarified: 56 games of the World Cup football competitions will be broadcasted on the Se Sima network and 8 games will be broadcast on the specialized sports network due to the same time.
