Ahmad Mahmoudzadeh, in a conversation with Mehr reporter, stated that one of the good measures that the Ministry of Education has in public schools is the ranking of teachers, and expressed: In this type of schools, teachers are also empowered to improve the quality of education and knowledge. Students are also considered.

He stated that in addition to public schools, the Ministry of Education also has a good plan for non-profit schools because we believe that in previous years there was not a good plan for this type of schools, he emphasized: for these schools, a so-called package is also available. It has been formulated to empower and standardize the human force, part of which requires the approval of the government and parliament.

Planning packages

Stating that another part of this package will be planned in the form of organizational policies in the coming years, the Deputy Minister of Education said: In the planning package prepared for non-government schools, the insurance of our cultural colleagues, along with empowerment and standardization, has been seen.

Stating that the teachers of non-government schools will also get supplementary insurance, Mahmoud Zadeh said: the education of our cultural colleagues will be considered in accordance with the standards, because most of this group did not study at the teacher training university or have free cooperation with education. A comprehensive observation should be done to know which teachers with which standards should be present in which schools and educational levels, which fortunately has started this year.

Stating that this plan is also one of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution’s menus because he said that teachers should teach in schools according to their field and expertise, he said: The Ministry of Education pays special attention to monitoring and planning for non-government school teachers.

Teacher training

The Deputy of Non-Government Schools and Development of People’s Partnerships of the Ministry of Education stated that another point we follow in non-profit schools is what kind of training teachers need, and stated: This action will take place in the context of empowering teachers.

Mahmoudzadeh stated that the active and successful presence in the classrooms is the focus of the implementation of this project and the trainings related to it, and expressed: The teachers of the non-profit schools read the necessary training according to the content of the textbooks and educational standards, so that they fit the facilities and equipment. They can take action in terms of education.

In response to the Mehr reporter’s question about the implementation time of these approvals and instructions at the school level, he said: The standardization and empowerment of non-government school teachers has already started, but we are pursuing the supplementary insurance plan, which we will implement soon.

Examining teachers’ professional qualifications

The Deputy Minister of Education stated: This Ministry has signed a memorandum of understanding with Farhangian University to give professional qualifications to all teachers of non-government schools, which means that if a teacher is not able to work, he should not be allowed to attend the classroom.

Mahmoudzadeh stated that there is also a discussion in the parliament and that is that the teachers of non-government schools in the country are now according to the labor law and teach 44 hours, so we are looking for these teachers to have the status of 24 hours a week and the teachers Secondary schools should be changed to 30 hours per week, and school staff should also work 36 hours per week so that the conditions are similar to public schools.

He added: This plan has been approved by the Education Commission, and we are waiting for it to be approved in the public hall of the Islamic Council, so that we can implement it so that there is no difference between the working hours of the schools.
