According to the report of Mehr News Agency, quoted by Al-Shabiba, “Awad bin Omar Baqweera”, an analyst of Omani political and strategic affairs, referring to Haitham bin Tariq’s trip to Iran, described this trip as very important and strategic.
He emphasized: This trip was made for fundamental reasons. Iran is a neighbor of Oman and between them there is a common history and the Strait of Hormuz as an important sea passage and an artery for exporting oil to Europe, Asia and America.
This Omani analyst stated: There are many commonalities between the two friendly countries and this trip took place in a positive atmosphere, especially since Oman has played a big role in the past years regarding Iran’s nuclear case and the resumption of relations between Saudi Arabia and Iran, and the discussion of resuming relations between Egypt and Iran and many cases between the two countries are discussed.
He further mentioned the issue of Yemen and that as a neighbor of Oman, there should be stability there and that the resumption of relations between Saudi Arabia and Iran has an impact on the case of Yemen and the establishment of peace there.
Omani political and strategic analyst Awad bin Omar Baghweer added: The cases of this trip are diverse and very important, including the diplomatic relations between the two countries and solving regional crises and calming them down, especially the relations between Egypt and Iran due to the impact It noted the stability of the region.
