Qom handicraft production workshops are supported

According to Aria Heritage, quoting the public relations of the General Directorate of Heritage, Culture, Tourism and Handicrafts of Qom, Alireza Arjomandi on Wednesday, December 15, 1400 in the third meeting of the Ring National Policy Committee chaired by Mehrdad Ghazanfari, Deputy Governor of Qom “Handicraft production We are looking to build a special handicraft town in the province.”

The Director General of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts of Qom, referring to the allocation of 20 hectares of land on the Qom-Tehran highway for a private town of handicrafts, continued: “The Qom-Tehran highway is a transportation highway of 17 provinces that has a high capacity to create a traditional arts town.”

“In addition to production workshops and shops, this town will also include a handicraft training center,” Arjomandi said, noting that the establishment of a handicraft town in Qom will increase passenger life.

Referring to the registration of Qom as the national city of rings and the creation of a handicraft town, he clarified: “It is time for Qom finger-making artists to come out of the basements of their houses and expose their art to everyone.”
