Registration of one million and 170 thousand people staying in Khorasan Razavi during Eid-e-Fitr holidays

According to the report of Aria Heritage, quoting the public relations of the General Directorate of Heritage, Culture, Tourism and Handicrafts of Khorasan Razavi, Yousef Bidkhori stated today, Saturday, April 6, 1401, about the condition of Khorasan Razavi accommodation units during the Eid al-Fitr holiday: “And 178,000 people have settled in residential units in Khorasan Razavi.”
The Deputy Minister of Tourism of the General Directorate of Heritage, Culture, Tourism and Handicrafts of Khorasan Razavi continued: “Due to the volume of passenger arrivals in the province, the occupancy rate of accommodation units reached its maximum from 11th of Ordibehesht and the capacity of emergency accommodation units was used.”
“Official accommodation units have occupied an average of 67 percent these days and temporary accommodation units 11 percent,” Bidkhori added.
The Deputy Minister of Tourism of the General Directorate of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts of Khorasan Razavi stated: “From 12 to 14 May, the occupancy rate of residential units reached 100% and temporary accommodation units such as schools, camps and husseiniyahs reached their highest occupancy rate.”
“More than 818,000 people in formal accommodation units including hotels, apartment hotels, guesthouses, guest houses and eco-lodges, more than 340,000 people in temporary accommodation units including municipal accommodation centers, mosques, husseiniyahs and holy shrines, cheap government guest houses, pilgrimages,” Bidkhori said. “And the IRGC accommodation centers and more than 19,000 people have been accommodated in emergency accommodation centers, including schools, sports halls, emergency capacity of mosques and the capacity of the IRGC camp.”
The Deputy Minister of Tourism of the General Directorate of Heritage, Culture, Tourism and Handicrafts of Khorasan Razavi reminded: “Also, 151 visits and monitoring of tourism facilities in Khorasan Razavi have been done in order to respect the rights of travelers.”
