Will managerial changes reach the “special road”?

These days, news of dismissals and management appointments is heard in government-affiliated sectors; However, the car industry has so far survived the storm of change. However, it seems that the wave of change will sooner or later affect the government-affiliated sector of the automotive industry.
Iran Khodro, Saipa and Pars Khodro, as three government-affiliated companies and the main car manufacturers in the country, are usually faced with dismissal and management installations by changing governments. Sometimes even the change of ministers in the heart of the government allows one director to leave and another director to come. Now that the 13th government has taken office, managerial changes in the automotive industry are not far off. Although the government and the Ministry of Silence have always tried to deny their role in the management changes of the automobile industry and consider it as the result of the decision of the board of directors of automobile companies, it is not hidden from anyone where the source of dismissals and installations is. Despite a small stake in the automakers, the government interferes in many of their affairs, and managerial change is one of them. Therefore, it is quite possible that in the thirteenth government, managerial dismissals and installations will take place in the automobile industry.

The current directors of the major automakers are appointed by the previous government, and as the 13th government pursues a separate and different policy, it may make changes at the head of the special road giants. On the other hand, the Ministry of Silence of the 13th government has planned plans for the automotive industry (including production of 3 million units and exports of one million), and naturally wants managers who are in line with this plan. Therefore, the Ministry of Silence may conclude that the current managers of the automotive industry do not have the power and motivation to advance the goals of this ministry, and that other people need to take the helm of large automotive companies.

The thirteenth government did not have many special managerial changes in its early days; But gradually the storm of removal and installations has begun and has recently intensified. There is currently no official and serious news about the change of CEOs of major automakers; But given the experience of changing governments and what has happened in the past, the storm of removal and installations is likely to reach a “special road.” In the years after the revolution, Iran’s car industry has undergone many managerial changes, which, of course, peaked in the 1990s. In this decade, Saipa was involved in management changes five times and Iran Khodro twice. (Source: World Economy)
