Remembering the legacy of the ancestors in the historical villages of Golestan

Golestan has more than a thousand villages and settlements in the forest, mountain, plain and coastal areas, some of which, with their historical history and architecture and special culture, have been used as a natural and living museum and can become an attraction for tourists. .

According to IRNA, every corner of Golestan province has settlements to remind the history and civilization of this ancient land, which takes viewers back hundreds of years.

These villages, some of which have still preserved their old and traditional texture, are considered a good opportunity to represent the forgotten culture and customs of Golestan and can become a suitable place to increase the sustainable income of their residents.

Eight villages with historical context of Golestan have been improved by the Islamic Revolution Housing Foundation of the province in recent years in order to preserve the identity of these settlements and create the motivation to return to the migrant villagers.

Gorgan Pilgrimage Village

Ziarat is located in the southern Estrabad district of the central part of Gorgan city, seven kilometers south of Naharkhoran.

This village is located in the foothills of the northern slopes of the Alborz mountain range, and the forest cover around it, along with the special climate of the foothills, has turned it into a gorgani camp and a suitable place for tourists and mountaineers.

Ziarat village naturally has a potential attraction that can attract every citizen.

Cool and healthy weather, green nature with beautiful scenery, natural elements such as hot water, waterfalls and natural springs, and besides these attractions, the valuable texture of Ziarat village should be added.

Ziarat village has a population of 1,964 people with 478 residential units.

The restoration of Ziarat village was put into operation in April 2009 and now it welcomes Nowruz travelers in the first days of spring and even in other days of the year.

Persian village of Azadshahr

Farsian is located at a distance of 35 km from Azadshahr city and on the Shahroud route of Semnan province and has a population of 2,200 people.

Now, part of the area of ​​Farsian village has been reconstructed by combining new technical and engineering principles and old architecture.

Implementation of about 15,000 square meters of flooring, installation of 400 meters of wooden fences and about 6,000 square meters of walls, as well as 10,000 square meters of straw covering, securing the sewage system of 400 residential units and modeling 66 residential units of this village based on the old architecture of Among the measures taken for the valuable texture of this village, it is the place of tourists from all over the country and abroad.

The Director General of Golestan Islamic Revolution Housing Foundation said: The improvement of 6 villages with valuable structures in the province is being implemented from the approved location of the President’s first round trip in March 1400.

Seyyed Mohammad Hosseini added to IRNA: These 6 villages include Shahkoh Sofli in the mountainous region of Gorgan located on the way from Gorgan to Shahroud, Gandab in Kordkoi, Ghalee Qafe Bayin and Sasang in Minodasht, Banaf Tepe in Bandargaz and Paghela in Ramian.

He said: In 1400, a credit amounting to 200 billion rials was allocated for the preparation and implementation of projects to improve the valuable fabric and rural tourism of this number of villages.

He continued: In these villages, projects such as floor construction, stone plinth, roof edge, thatch, creating walls, asphalt, weaving, wall construction, tabulation, concrete channel have been done and have given a special effect to the village.

According to him, the physical progress of the implementation of these projects in the villages of Shahkoh Sefeli, Kondab, Qala Qafe Bayan, Sasang, Banaf Tepe and Paghela varies between 17 and 85 percent.

According to him, the funds for the trip of the 13th government to Golestan are expected for three years, and most of these villages will be improved.
