According to Mehr news agency, Seyyed Soult Mortazavi on the sidelines of the signing ceremony of the joint cooperation agreement between the Ministry of Cooperatives, Labor and Social Welfare and Tehran Municipality, which was held today, Wednesday, December 2, in the presence of Alireza Zakani, Mayor of Tehran and Mehdi Maskani, Vice President of Cooperative Affairs, at the Ministry’s premises, from the formation of 354 housing cooperatives Mahalat reported in Tehran city.

Stating that there are many common features between the Ministry of Cooperation, Labor and Social Welfare and Tehran Municipality, he said: In the near future, these cooperations will be developed in the social and economic fields.

Mortazavi named the Ministry of Cooperation, Labor and Social Welfare as the “Ministry of the People” and Tehran Municipality as the “House of the People” and added: “The main duty of revolutionary leaders is to serve the people.”

The Minister of Cooperation, Labor and Social Welfare emphasized the need to develop cooperative-oriented popular partnerships and considered the implementation of this memorandum as a big step to increase social capital and develop popular partnerships in the country.

He mentioned the construction industry as one of the economic drivers of the country and added that the Ministry of Cooperatives is on the way to achieving a 25% share of the cooperative sector in the country’s economy.

Mortazavi stated: With the cooperation of Cooperative Development Bank and Shahr Bank, 450 million Tomans will be paid for each housing unit, and it will be combined with the applicant’s income.

Renovation of 4,700 hectares of worn-out fabric in Tehran

Mehdi Maskani, Deputy of Cooperative Affairs of the Ministry of Cooperatives, Labor and Social Welfare, also said in this ceremony: The main goal of implementing this memorandum is participation and synergy in the production, supply of housing and renovation of worn-out structures in the city of Tehran with an area of ​​4,700 hectares with the participation of housing cooperatives. Is.

Stating that the statutes of neighborhood housing cooperatives have been compiled and finalized, he added: Members of neighborhood housing cooperatives are granted cheap facilities.

The Deputy of Cooperative Affairs of the Ministry of Cooperatives, Labor and Social Welfare considered the development of cooperative-oriented popular partnerships in the neighborhoods of Tehran as one of the social goals of this memorandum.

Maskani called the improvement of land productivity through the collection of worn-out license plates and the provision of high-quality housing in the city of Tehran among the other goals of the implementation of this memorandum and said: Tehran City Renewal Organization and the Office of Distribution Cooperatives form a joint committee for the implementation of this memorandum.

He pointed out: the formation of neighborhood housing cooperatives and the introduction of construction and mass-building cooperatives to participate in the projects of revitalizing worn-out structures is the responsibility of the deputy of cooperative affairs.
