Reopening of schools and the need to monitor compliance with protocols / distance removed – Mehr News Agency | Iran and world’s news

Mehr News Agency – Provinces Group: After nearly 2 years, the virtual training course in the country has ended and the schools started in full presence on June 5 to start a new chapter in the post-corona course for the country and the educational system.
The decision, which was ordered by the Corona headquarters, was implemented at a time when the country has just withdrawn from the sixth courier, and some experts are even reporting that the seventh courier is approaching.
On the other hand, the slowness and reduction of quality in education has made face-to-face training necessary after two years.
But in the meantime, there are many concerns from parents. Adherence to health protocols in schools is a necessity and it seems that if we are negligent in this area, we will see bad things.
Strange spacing removal
Vaccination has been going well in the first and second secondary schools, but we are facing serious problems in the primary sector, and only 5% of the population under the age of 12 in Qazvin province have received both doses of the vaccine.
Mohammad Hassan Ardagian, spokesman for Qazvin University of Medical Sciences, in an interview with Mehr, referring to the vaccination situation in Qazvin province, said: As of Tuesday, April 7, nearly 16% of the population under the age of 12 in Qazvin province had received the first dose of the vaccine.
Some classes in Takestan have a population of more than 30 people and the size of the class is not large and naturally the risk of corona outbreak in these classes is very high. He added: “In both doses, the rate of injection is very low and about 5% of the population under the age of 12 in Qazvin province have received both doses of vaccine.”
A spokesman for Qazvin University of Medical Sciences added: “In the population between 12 and 18 years old, but more than 89% of the population of Qazvin province have received both doses of corona vaccine.”
Ardagian said: “The main way to deal with Corona in the current situation is the full implementation of vaccination, and we hope to see an improvement in the vaccination situation, especially among people under 12 years of age.”
We are worried about the gathering of students in the classroom
Rezaei, whose son is in the third grade of elementary school, said in an interview with Mehr, referring to the reopening of schools in Qazvin province: “We are worried about our son’s situation at school.”
“Our main concern is not the reopening of schools, but the status of compliance with school and classroom protocols,” he said.
This student father points out that it may be possible to distance himself in the classroom, but in other areas of the school it is not possible to follow the protocols, and this worries us.
Students have not been vaccinated
“One of our main concerns is the level of vaccination,” said Mohammadi, the mother of a fifth-grade elementary school student.
“Unfortunately, according to officials, very few elementary school students have been vaccinated, which increases the risk of transmitting the virus and disease,” he said.
“Transfer to the child in the current situation means transfer to the whole family, and this brings the community back to a new peak,” she said.
He stressed: a process should be created that in addition to compliance with protocols, vaccination will be in a better condition.
The result of corona transfer during travel is not known
Saeedi, the mother of another parent, also told Mehr that it might have been better to wait a little longer for the reopening: “The results of the corona outbreak during the holidays are still unknown.”
He stressed: “The reopening of schools immediately after the holidays and in a situation where we have witnessed an unprecedented volume of travel, and even in a bad situation, vaccination seems a bit hasty and unreasonable.”
Observing the protocol in a class of 30 people is not easy
But teachers are also part of a community that, with the reopening of schools, is emphasizing the need to follow protocols.
Rahmani, one of the vineyard teachers who teaches for girls in high school, told Mehr: “Some classrooms in the vineyard have a population of more than 30 people and the size of the classroom is not large, and naturally the risk of corona outbreak in these classes is very high.”
He continued: “Students are also present in the classroom with fear and this reduces the quality of education.”
“In addition to vaccination, it is better to follow the protocols in schools seriously so that both students and teachers are away from possible dangers,” she said.
Distribution of 40 billion tomans of health items in schools to comply with protocols
Naghi Siahkali Moradi, director general of education, but in an interview with Mehr, referring to the observance of protocols in schools, said: “The rate of vaccination in our first and second secondary schools is good, but at the elementary level the vaccine percentage is very low and parents and parents should change this issue.” Create trends.
Only 5% of the population under the age of 12 in Qazvin province have received both doses of the vaccine
He continued: “The drop in students’ education in the future will be harmful for the whole country and we must change the trend so that the issue caused by the corona virus is largely compensated.”
Siahkali stated that parents should not worry about the observance of protocols in schools: the amount of 4 billion tomans of sanitary equipment has been provided to the schools of the province and by this means we have tried to fully observe all health protocols in schools.
Complete school closure if you see 3 positive coronas
Jalal Rahmani, Vice Chancellor for Health of Qazvin University of Medical Sciences, in an interview with Mehr, stated that the schools have returned to the activity cycle 100% and with all their capacity as in the past: And the process of our activities in schools will be the same as before and before the corona outbreak.
Qazvin University of Medical Sciences Vice Chancellor for Health said: “Currently, if positive coronas are seen in three schools, the school will be closed completely and everyone will be quarantined.”
He emphasized: in case of any symptoms common to Corona in any class, the person will be quarantined until the end of the symptoms to make health decisions by performing tests.
It seems that increasing the level of vaccine injection in primary schools as well as adhering to health protocols at all levels can provide a basis for peace of mind and maintaining the health of students.
However, any negligence and normalcy in schools and lack of supervision over the observance of protocols can easily involve the community in another dangerous courier.
