Rilmi is currently the fourth largest Chinese smartphone brand, ranked sixth in the world


Earlier today (September 22, 2021), Riley held a product launch conference in which it introduced a new smartphone called the Realme GT Neo 2. During the event, the company also announced that it has become the fourth largest smartphone brand in China and even managed to reach the sixth place in the world rankings. According to the Chinese smartphone giant, data comes from the well-known market analysis / research company Counterpoint Research, which shows that sales of relay smartphones reached 15 million units in the second quarter of this year. This amount has resulted in a very significant and admirable increase of 135.1% compared to the annual sales.

Sales of these large shipments have made the brand the fourth best-selling handset brand in China. In addition, the company has now managed to become the sixth largest mobile phone brand in the world for the first time in its history.

The company is the fastest growing brand in the world with 100 million smartphones sold. In the second quarter of 2021, Rilmi came in first in the Philippines and Bangladesh, fourth in India and fifth in Europe. During the same period, it even managed to record 1006% annual sales increase in the Chinese market. It also made it the fastest growing smartphone maker in the first half of the year.

In addition, the company’s market share in 5G handsets increased from 8.8 percent in the first quarter to 15.9 percent in the second quarter. In this category, Rilmi succeeded in being able to take the third place. The company has also announced that it has outlined the company’s next goal, which is to achieve “double 100 million” sales of 200 million smartphones by the end of 2022.
