According to the Mehr news agency, Mikhail Ulyanov, Russia’s representative to international organizations, described the composition of the Iranian delegation at the Vienna talks on lifting the sanctions as “significant” in a Twitter message on Saturday.
Russia’s representative to international organizations wrote in this regard: The composition of the Iranian delegation in the negotiations on lifting sanctions in the Vienna talks is significant. I believe that this should be interpreted as a proof of serious intentions (of the Iranian side).
He wrote in another Twitter message: “Informal consultations began before the Borjam talks in Vienna (which is scheduled to take place tomorrow).”
According to Mehr News Agency, Saeed Khatibzadeh, spokesman for our Ministry of Foreign Affairs, had previously published an article on his Twitter account comparing the approach and actions of the United States and the European Troika and the Islamic Republic of Iran. They do, they increase sanctions, they fabricate distorted narratives, they remain silent in the face of Israeli threats.
Referring to Iran’s actions, he said: “Iran is forming a serious and high-level negotiating team, calling for a good immediate agreement and full implementation of UNSCR 2231, holding regional consultations, it is enough to compare the priorities of the two sides.”
“At the Vienna talks, we are ready to reach a good agreement,” said a spokesman for the Iranian Foreign Ministry, adding that a return to the commitments of all parties was an important and instructive principle.
