Sale of 404 billion tomans of handicrafts artists in Nowruz

The Deputy Minister of Handicrafts of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts added: In Nowruz this year, according to the order of the President, handicraft bazaars were set up at the entrance of cities, and in total 31 provinces, 920 handicraft bazaars with a capacity of 11,439 stalls were created, and fortunately, this year’s handicraft artists They had good sales.

He continued: Of course, this sales figure is based on the self-declaration of handicraft artists of 31 provinces, and our prediction is that due to the establishment of handicraft markets by the municipalities, the specialized mother company for the development of Iran Tourism and World Tourism, as well as some other institutions, the sales of handicraft products will increase. In Nowruz, 1402 digits should be more than this number. However, according to the self-declaration of handicraft artists participating in the bazaars covered by this ministry, more than 404 billion tomans of handicraft products have been sold in Nowruz this year, and also 27 million and 817 thousand people visited the handicraft bazaars and bought from these bazaars.

Deputy Minister of Handicrafts of the country added: The largest number of handicraft bazaars in Nowruz this year belongs to Gilan province with 107 bazaars with a capacity of 1048 stalls.
