A member of Ansarullah’s political bureau also said in response to a question from the host about the repetition of the scenario of a ballistic missile attack deep into the UAE: “Yes, for sure! “Because we are in a state of war.”

There have been fierce clashes between Emirati mercenaries and the Yemeni army and popular committees in Shabwa province for some time.

Yemeni forces have shot down two UAE spy drones over the past week during a hostile operation in the south.

The two operations took place while the Yemeni navy also recently seized an Emirati warship in the west of the country in an unprecedented move.

The ship, which was carrying military weapons to the Saudi coalition, was intercepted by the Yemeni navy near the Yemeni city of Al-Hudaidah.

The spokesman for the Yemeni Armed Forces, Brigadier General Yahya Sari, said today that the Yemeni army had inflicted heavy casualties on UAE mercenaries and ISIS in Shabwa province over the past few days.

According to Yahya Sari today, Sanaa forces have killed 515 UAE mercenaries and ISIS members, including several commanders, and wounded more than 850.

Sari also added, citing intelligence data, that 200 UAE-affiliated mercenaries and ISIS members were also missing.

The Yemeni army was also able to destroy 102 military vehicles and a number of large and advanced mercenary cannons.

A spokesman for the Yemeni armed forces also said that dozens of rockets had been fired at a gathering place of UAE mercenaries and ISIS in Shabwa province, killing dozens and wounding scores.

The quick end of today’s statement, while emphasizing full readiness to defend Yemen, its people and confront the UAE until victory, warned that the consequences of the UAE’s tense actions will be severe and that the UAE must bear the consequences of this tension.

Saudi Arabia, at the head of an Arab coalition backed by the United States, has launched a military aggression against Yemen and imposed a land, air and sea blockade on April 26, 2015, claiming that it was trying to bring the resigned Yemeni president back to power.

The military aggression did not achieve any of the goals of the Saudi coalition and was only accompanied by the killing and wounding of tens of thousands of Yemenis, the displacement of millions, the destruction of the country’s infrastructure and the spread of famine and infectious diseases.
