Referring to the role of the government in the development of public transportation, Sarvari said: 6,000 buses in Tehran have been reduced to about 2,000 in the last four years, and if we want to achieve our previous situation, we need about 4,000 buses. Let’s buy!
The head of the Supreme Council of Provinces stressed that the government should continue to help purchase buses for public transport; Unfortunately, the government has not played its role in this regard in recent years, and thank God, the new government has announced its readiness for this cooperation.
He said that in the past, 82.5 percent of the cost of buying a bus was paid by the government and 17.5 percent by the municipality. Now the cost of buying a bus is 5 billion tomans, which municipalities alone can not afford.

Sarvari, in response to a question from a Fars News Agency reporter about the collapse of the Metropol building in Abadan, said: “If this incident does not lead to a new regulation, the Iranian people and those who lost their lives in this incident will be oppressed.”
The head of the Supreme Council of Provinces added: “In the metropolitan incident, we are witnessing a series of inefficiencies, violations and abuses, etc .; In this incident, nothing has been done in its place. There are major problems in the design of the execution and other parts of the metropolitan building.
He stated that the contractor of the Metropol building had interfered in the work of the employer and had imposed an illegal procedure on the employer, adding that the supervisor of the Metropol building should have stopped the building.
Sarvari said: in the collapse of the metropolis building, the share of fault is very high and it can not be said that the share of fault goes only to the municipality and the council of the Engineering System Organization, etc.
The head of the Supreme Council of Provinces continued: “We want to prepare the ground for organizing the construction of the metropolis building in Abadan.”

He said: “The supervisor should be located in the building and this is the proposal that we have presented to the Engineering System Organization and the Ministry of Interior. Other working groups will also be formed with the Supreme Administrative Court, the National Inspection Agency, and other groups related to urban management.

Referring to the launch of the country’s comprehensive system of approvals, Sarvari said: “The approvals of the municipality will be uploaded in this system from the beginning of its formation until now, and the abrogation of the approvals will be determined.”
He continued: “The comprehensive system of the country’s approvals is a large database of the country’s expert and legal currents.” This system has received 12 million visits in Tehran during 4 years.

We will follow up on people’s problems with the documents of the charters
Referring to the many problems of the people regarding the documents of the charter, Sarwari said: “In a recent meeting we held with the head of the State Registration and Documents Organization, this issue was considered.” In this meeting, we came up with solutions that will be discussed in a legal working group.
