Regarding the objection of the working class to the increase in wages, he said: The decision to increase the wages this year was made in a tripartite manner in the Supreme Labor Council with the presence of representatives of workers and employers, and the government also provided the basis for understanding between these two groups. and the decision was made by taking the opinion of the members and confirming them.
Director General of Labor, Cooperative and Social Welfare of Zanjan province, pointing out that this decision was subject to regulations, stated: There are also criticisms of the wage increase, and we consider those criticisms to be reviewed; Although the authority to decide on this matter is not a provincial authority, if there are criticisms, we will reflect it to the Supreme Labor Council.
In response to the question that some consider the increase in wages as a factor for adjusting the workforce, he clarified: Considering that the employers are from the labor and production sectors and understand the conditions of the workers and they themselves are often aware of the level of work in the units. Production turned into entrepreneurs and employers, we are not too worried about this.
Jafari continued: We are sure that the employers will try to increase the minimum wage through new understandings and contracts to increase the bonus due to the increase in production, and improve the income of the workers in the current situation.
He added: We see the glass as half full in this matter and we hope that the secondary understandings between the worker and the employer will improve the condition of the workers in the production units of the province.
The General Director of Labor, Cooperative and Social Welfare of Zanjan province said about the increase in the number of unemployment insurances last year: this reduction of the workforce was not due to the increase in wages; Because in the beginning of 1401, the production units were observed and even though the wage increase was above 50%, we did not adjust the workforce due to the wage increase.
Pointing out that unemployment insurance can be caused by impulses that some production units are caught in for any reason, he reminded: for example, one of the big companies adjusted a number of workers due to the problem of supplying raw materials and production line. , so we arranged for them to use unemployment insurance and fortunately, many of them were recruited in other production units of the province after a few months.
Jafari added: Insurance coverage has been provided for the closure of some units due to factors beyond the control of the worker and the employer, and we also try to return the workers to the same unit or other production units after a short period of insurance coverage.
