Secretary General of the National Commission for UNESCO visits the historical attractions of Torbat Heydariyeh

According to the report of Aria Heritage, quoting the public relations of the General Directorate of Heritage, Culture, Tourism and Handicrafts of Khorasan Razavi, Hojjatullah Ayoubi stated today, Friday, November 5, 1400, during a two-day visit to Torbat Heydariyeh region: “We are pursuing the documentation and global registration of saffron for planting, holding and harvesting saffron.”
The Secretary General of the National Commission for UNESCO in Iran called for the participation of all governmental and non-governmental organizations to prepare this documentary and stressed the importance of saffron tourism as one of the important capacities of this product.
In addition to visiting saffron farms, saffron museum and saffron processing companies, he visited other historical and tourist attractions of Torbat-e Heydariyeh, including Mazari Museum, Upper Robat Historical and Tahmineh Ecotourism Resort, and became more familiar with traditional music and local food.
