The Vice President of International Affairs of the Judiciary stated: The executive regulations of this law are unfortunately silent on the protection of Iranian nationals who are arrested and imprisoned by foreign governments with false claims. It is the duty of the government to protect the employees of the executive bodies or the people who receive a mission from these bodies, as well as the ordinary citizens who are imprisoned abroad for no reason and without any crime and suffer financial losses. support each other.
Ghazib Abadi added: At least this support includes obtaining a lawyer and diplomatic support. As the human rights headquarters, we request the relevant executive bodies to amend and complete the executive regulations of this law.
He went on to point out that a number of Iranians are in prison under false pretenses to circumvent illegal sanctions in the United States, and stated: Our duty is to follow up on these hostage takings by the American regime, and various measures have been taken in this regard so far. Gharibabadi said: One of the measures that have been taken so far has been a positive response to the idea of exchanging prisoners in several stages, despite the fact that according to the judicial system, offenders belonging to foreign countries must serve their punishment until the last day, but with a support approach.
