Sending 120 tons of relief cargo to Konarak / stable conditions


Pir Hossein Kolivand, head of the Red Crescent Society, in an interview with a Fars News Agency health reporter, referring to the latest relief situation in the flood-hit areas of the south of the country, said: یرYesterday we had a field presence in Hormozgan, Minab and Rudan.

He continued: “Relief has been good and the people are very grateful and have low expectations. The situation in Kanarak and Chah Bahar was very critical and the largest shipment of aid has been sent to these areas.”

The head of the Red Crescent Society added: “120 tons of relief and biological items were sent by army and IRGC planes, and this aid was sent to Konarak within 2 to 3 hours.”

“A lot of furniture has been destroyed, but the situation in the area is stable,” he said, noting that the damage was extensive in terms of infrastructure.

Referring to the cooperation of local officials, he said: مسئولان In Hormozgan, officials had a field presence and it has been the same in Kerman province.
