Sending Iranian Red Crescent relief teams to Saudi Arabia

According to Fars news agency’s health group, Pir Hossein Kolivand, head of the Red Crescent Society, on the sidelines of the meeting with Jalal, the head of the Saudi Red Crescent Society in Saudi Arabia, said: Saudi Arabia has an application called “Help me” that pilgrims need any medical assistance and relief by entering To this application and request, the medical staff come to help the patient. This application does not have Persian language, so it was decided to add Persian language to the application with the help of Iran Red Crescent and for the upcoming Hajj.
He continued: Plans were also made for next year to send a team of Iranian aid workers to this country to help the Saudi Red Crescent.
The head of the Red Crescent community added: It was decided that the Arabian Red Crescent will provide an ambulance to the Red Crescent of our country to send Iranian patients to Jeddah and from Jeddah to Iran. In addition to this, it was agreed for the movement of Iranian Red Crescent ambulances in Saudi Arabia and for the greater welfare of Iranian pilgrims with all the exemptions and features that Saudi ambulances have. And facilitating the special movement of ambulances of the Red Crescent community in crisis conditions was also approved
Pointing out that there is a good cooperation between us and Saudi clinics and hospitals, he said: We decided to develop cooperation in order to make the activities smarter. We are making a new plan for next year, especially to prevent pilgrims from heatstroke in this area.
He added: It was decided to compile a book with the joint cooperation of two national populations to share the experiences and activities of relief and health care.
The head of the Red Crescent Society continued: Another issue discussed and agreed upon in this meeting was the presence and placement of Iranian doctors in Saudi hospitals during Hajj.
Kollivand said: The establishment of our medical staff on the routes where pilgrims travel, in Mina to Rami Jamrat, Mina to Mecca and Arafat to Mashaar and Mashaar to Mina, was one of the other things agreed with the Saudi Red Crescent in this meeting.
He added: Regarding the establishment of the University of Health and Rescue with bilateral cooperation, there was also a discussion and exchange of views.
In this meeting, Jalal, the head of the Saudi Red Crescent, thanked for holding such meetings and announced that these meetings will bring synergy and increase the quality of services to pilgrims.
