According to Mehr reporter, Youssef Nouri, Minister of Education, at the first cultural and sports festival for elementary school students across the country, saying that today we are proud to host mothers and daughters of athletes; He said: We think that 88% of our children play sports; But almost 7% of the country’s students play sports, our society needs healthy and strong people.

Nouri stated that the prosperity, health and security of our country lies in the shadow of sports, the future builders of the country; He said: The people’s government has made it possible for mothers, daughters, sons and fathers to be present at least once a week in the country’s educational sports spaces.

Stating that two motivational factors can be considered to encourage students to do sports, he said: The first factor is to encourage students who are not active enough; You should encourage them. Another factor is the environmental factor, there are not enough facilities in some areas and students cannot exercise. The government seeks to provide sufficient sports training spaces for students.

Nouri stated that sports plans are in line with the document of the fundamental transformation of education. He said: In continuation of the policies of the Ministry of Education, in the way of the realization of the fundamental transformation document, we have also liberalized the educational and sports spaces. 2,100 halls and lawns have been created so that students can exercise in schools after school.

Nouri by stating that we provide the students with the opportunity to be happy; He said: Student sports are not only about biological and physical education; Student sports is a main movement in all educational fields. If we do sports well, we also trained students in the field of economic education.
