He said: “A significant part of petrochemical products are exported without any problems in the conditions of sanctions, and by the end of January, more than 10 billion dollars have been exchanged for the country and have been deposited in the Nima system.”

“The petrochemical industry is a leader in the field of knowledge-based and, God willing, we will be completely self-sufficient in the field of in-house production of catalysts by the end of the thirteenth government,” Oji said.

The Minister of Oil said: “Capacity holdings are present in the Iranian petrochemical industry that have a very high income and are working in the field of value chain of the petrochemical industry.” Now, unlike in the past, petrochemical holding companies have entered the field of investment collectively, and we will soon see a major change in projects located in low-income areas of the country.

He stated: One of the programs of the Ministry of Oil to support the petrochemical industry is to stabilize the feed supply of these units. At present, part of the industry’s capacity remains unused due to food shortages, and we intend to address these petrochemical concerns by supplying fields and implementing burner gas collection projects and petroleum refineries.

“Due to the lack of investment in various sectors of the oil industry, we are far from the set goals,” Oji said. For example, according to the Sixth Development Plan, gas production should have reached 1.25 billion cubic meters per day, but due to lack of investment, current production is 860 million cubic meters per day.

The Minister of Oil added: “Therefore, the lack of investment created problems in the supply of petrochemicals this year, which, God willing, will be resolved in the coming years with the help of our friends.”

He stated: Regarding the change of the status of the self-sacrificing employees of the oil industry contracting, all these people will soon change the status according to the clause of the 1400 budget.

* Signing a $ 500 million contract for the collection of burner gases in East Karun

Oji said: “Yesterday, more than 1 billion and 350 million Euros of oil contracts were signed, of which $ 500 million were related to the contracts for collecting burner gases in the eastern Karun fields.” Inshallah, a contract for gas collection in western Karun will be signed with Iranian companies soon.

The Minister of Oil added: “By signing and implementing these contracts, the task of burner gases will be determined by the end of the 13th government and this case will be closed.” Definitely one of the ways to feed the petrochemical industry is to use the capacity of associated gases.

He said: “Also, the contract for the Sohrab joint oil field worth $ 800 million was signed yesterday.” God willing, in the Fajr decade of this year, we will sign contracts for the collection of burner gases and the development of oil and gas fields.

Regarding the outcome of the negotiations with China and Russia, Oji said: “Information on the agreements signed with China and Russia will be announced in due time.”
