At the beginning of this ceremony, which was held in the presence of Brigadier General Mohammad Zahraei, the head of the country’s Basij Construction Organization, and Mojtaba Habibzadeh Moghadam, the CEO of the Basij Housing and Social Development Institute, Sardar Zahraei pointed to the expansion of jihadi movements and said that supporting jihadi camps is a must. He knew and stated: Each jihadi camp covers several cities in a certain area and each camp contains about 50 jihadist groups.
Referring to the closeness of the missions of the Basij Cooperative Foundation and the Basij Construction Organization, he added: for better productivity of these joint missions, it is better to focus these missions in specific and common areas, and from that point, the services of the Basij Cooperative Foundation in the field of construction and deprivation removal by the institution Basij’s housing and social construction will take place, this memorandum of understanding will be concluded today between this institution and Basij Construction.
Habibzadeh Moghadam, while referring to the missions of the Basij Housing and Social Development Institute, called the support of jihadi groups one of the basic programs and missions of this institution, and considered the main goals of this memorandum to be targeting and determining the operational framework for jihadi groups.
He added: “Basij Housing and Social Development Institute, considering its experiences, as well as its specialized, technical and machinery capacities, can speed up and facilitate affairs while providing comprehensive support to jihadi groups in the fields of social development, deprivation removal, and unexpected events.”
