Small refueling stations will be established in Tehran
According to Fars News Agency’s urban correspondent, an urgent review of the amendment to the Tehran Municipality’s requirement to create and facilitate small gas stations in Tehran was discussed at today’s meeting of the city council, and council members, both for and against, expressed their views. They raised this issue.
Jafar Tashkari Hashemi, head of the Transportation and Civil Engineering Commission of the Sixth Council, said: “Studies for the construction of small-scale fuel stations have started since 1988, but due to the price of land in Tehran, the implementation of this issue has been postponed.”
He added: “In the previous plan, it was foreseen that the municipality would construct the stations or participate in this field with the help of the private sector and providing the required land.”
This member of the Tehran City Council said: “Therefore, we saw that practically no special work was done in the discussion of supplying and creating fuel stations, and this is while many areas of Tehran, including areas 1, 2, 3, 4, 7, 9, 21 have the largest deficit of fuel stations.
Tashkari Hashemi pointed out: In this proposal, which has been presented to friends, it has been suggested that unused lands, unused lands and unused lands be given to the private sector without transferring ownership as a municipality, so that the problems related to There is also document and land use change that can be solved more easily and small-scale refueling stations can be set up.
He added: “With this action, the private sector can also meet the needs of citizens by installing portable stations.”
Thanks to Hashemi for increasing air pollution, traffic, unnecessary traffic and increasing fuel and energy consumption, and at the same time people’s dissatisfaction with access to gas stations are the most important reasons for presenting an urgent plan to amend the Tehran Municipality’s obligation to establish and facilitate stations. “Given that the main issue in providing this position by investors is land, we will pave the way for investors and private sector participation with this resolution,” he said.
Finally, an urgency of this plan was approved by a majority of votes.
