Police Department of Fars News Agency – Maryam Arab Ansari: The youth are patriots, unassuming and unpretentious, they spend about two years of the best years of their youth defending the lives, property, and honor of the people; It doesn’t matter if it is hot or cold, wind or rain or snow or blizzard, flood or earthquake destroys or even if it is corona virus; None of them cause disruption in their service process.
They must stay, stand and defend; From people’s lives, wealth and honor, from the soil of the homeland.
They are from everywhere; from Tehran or Khash; It doesn’t matter if they are an only son or an only child; be educated or illiterate; The law is the same for everyone; Military service under the flag for boys who have reached the age of 18.
They insist that in the two years of life that they give to the country, in return, they should be provided with good salaries, facilities and conditions so that their motivation to perform and continue military service will increase, especially these days when population increase policies are also on the agenda. Something should be done so that married subjects do not hesitate to do military service.
In these days, when the increase in the cost of living, from food and clothing to transportation, has made the situation difficult for everyone, something should be done to reduce the pressure on the beneficiaries and make them willing to serve in the military, so that it does not happen with the increase in the population. Let’s face the absent subjects.
One of the most important military incentives is to increase the salaries of soldiers; According to Article 50 and 49 of the Soldiers’ Salary Law, 60 to 90 percent of the minimum salary of the armed forces should be; In the previous year’s budget law, the minimum salary became the minimum payment of the armed forces and it was in favor of the soldier because the minimum payment was 5 million six hundred thousand tomans and the minimum salary was 3 million six hundred thousand tomans; But last year, the government could not provide credit, and therefore only 75% of the budget was implemented, and the amount paid to the soldiers was from two million five hundred thousand tomans to seven million tomans.
It should be noted that the soldiers’ income in the current situation does not meet their daily needs, let alone the married ones; Although extraordinary, the cost of transportation, travel, border area, wife’s right and child’s right are given to the soldiers, but still this number does not cover the current expenses.
These days, when the Islamic Council is making decisions about the country’s budget, it has addressed the issue of soldiers’ rights in a special way; According to the approval of the Consolidation Commission, the minimum salary of single soldiers will reach 4 million and 800 thousand tomans in the coming year.
Based on this, the monthly salary of married soldiers will be 7 million 200 thousand tomans and the soldiers of operational areas will be 6 million tomans, of course, except for the rights of spouses and children, which are also calculated according to the law.
The first step has already been taken by the consolidation commission, now we have to wait and see how the next steps will be taken; Has this resolution been voted on in the open floor of the parliament and will the budget be allocated by the government at the next stage or not?
However, it is hoped that the representatives of the Islamic Council will implement the necessary planning and cooperation in order to realize the average salary of the soldiers according to the law, and pay attention to the important issue of “credit provision” so that this goal is realized.
