Special metro service on the occasion of the death anniversary of the Great Leader of the Islamic Revolution

According to Fars report, Masoud Darshi, while honoring the memory of the Great Leader of the Islamic Revolution, said: service will be provided on the 14th of Khordad from the beginning of the operating hours until after the noon call to prayer on line 1 and after the noon call to prayer until the evening call to prayer only at the Imam’s Holy Shrine station. He added: From the evening of Saturday, June 13th, a special service will be provided to transport pilgrims and participants in the anniversary ceremony of Imam Khomeini’s death, and in this regard, the nightly service from the shrine to the shrine will be provided from Shahr Ray station to Imam Khomeini’s holy shrine station. A train runs every 30 minutes from 10:00 PM to 5:00 AM.

Referring to the preparations for the 34th anniversary of Imam Khomeini’s death anniversary, the CEO of Tehran and Suburbs Metro Operation Company added: for the well-being of citizens and pilgrims, service on line one of the Tehran and Suburbs Metro will be provided on June 14 from 5:00 p.m. And other inner city lines start at 5:30 am.
He stated that the distance between trains on Line 1 of the Tehran Metro will be reduced from 7 minutes to 5 minutes from the beginning of the morning to the end of the ceremony, and the distance between trains on lines 2 and 4 will be reduced from 7 to 6 minutes, he said: Imam Airport Line Khomeini (may Allah be pleased with him) will not have service until 12:00 noon on June 14 due to the absence of foreign flights.
He also informed about the deployment of 30 ambulances at Shush station from 13th to 15th of June and added: On the 14th of June, the emergency camp of the Metro Operation Company is also set up at the Holy Shrine of Imam Khomeini (RA) station, as well as the volunteers of the Red Crescent on Sunday, the 14th of June. Imam Khomeini (RA), Shahid-Baqer Shahr and Shahreri stations will be established.

He pointed to the performance of artistic programs and noted: the performance of hymn and chorus groups will be performed on the 13th and 14th of Khordad at two stations of Imam Khomeini (RA) and the Holy Shrine of Imam Khomeini (RA). Also, due to the fact that part of the pilgrims for the anniversary of the death of the Imam (RA) are from nearby cities, and for their well-being, especially women and mothers, the mother and child room at Haram Motahar station is ready for full-time service.
