Specialized working groups to facilitate marriage to be formed in Bushehr province – Mehr News Agency | Iran and world’s news
According to the Mehr correspondent, Ahmad Mohammadi-Zadeh stated in a meeting of the Strategic Council of Bushehr Province on Sunday evening: “Basic measures must be taken to eliminate the factors of increasing the age of marriage in Bushehr Province.”
He called for the formation of three specialized working groups to facilitate youth marriage, noting that these working groups should be formed in the fields of culture, facilitation and the pursuit of youth employment.
The governor of Bushehr called for attention to demographic indicators based on the indigenous culture of different parts of Bushehr province and stated: to carry out research activities in the field of general population policy strategies, the capacity of Bushehr universities should be used.
He considered economic issues, especially unemployment, as one of the important factors in reducing marriage, adding: “Youth employment is one of the most important infrastructures for family formation and youth marriage, which should be considered by the authorities.”
Mohammadi Zadeh stated: Scientific and expert study of issues through universities and scientific centers can play an effective role in overcoming problems and providing practical solutions.
He called for facilitating youth marriage in all sectors of society and added: “In this regard, providing youth housing in the implementation of the housing production leap plan has been prioritized.”
