Stone throwing on the old road of Tehran – Qom/ The accused was arrested

According to the police reporter of Fars news agency, the police chief of Ray city announced the arrest of the person who threw stones on the old Tehran-Qom road.

Colonel Dost Ali Jalilian announced this news: following the announcement of the 110 police emergency center regarding the stone-throwing on the Tehran-Qom transportation axis, which prevented the movement of heavy vehicles and passenger buses and disrupted public transportation, considering the sensitivity of the issue. He added: The law enforcement agents, by being present at the scene and video monitoring, obtained the physical characteristics of the perpetrators, and finally it was found that a two-wheeler motorcycle started throwing stones, and the obtained characteristics were quickly provided to the agents of the tangible and intangible patrols, which after the implementation Blocking plan, stone throwers were observed in the main roads of the old Tehran-Qom road.

This police officer added: One of the accused was quickly arrested and the other accused escaped from the place by taking advantage of the darkness. The arrested accused was taken to the police station for further investigation.

Colonel Jalilian stated that the accused confessed to the crime committed during the police investigation and said: After the completion of the case, receiving a complaint from the complainant, the accused was sent to the prosecutor’s office and the arrest of the other accused in the case is on the agenda of Ray police.

Pointing out that disturbing the public order is a crime and the police will deal decisively with the criminals, the police commander of Ray city said: Citizens should inform the police emergency center 110 if they see any suspicious cases.
