Sullivan: US and Israel need a common strategy – Mehr News Agency | Iran and world’s news

White House National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan met with Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett as he traveled to the occupied territories, the Haaretz news agency reported.

The Israeli prime minister’s office said in a statement that during the meeting, the two sides discussed Iran and efforts to revive the 2015 nuclear deal.

“What is happening in Vienna will have profound consequences for the stability of the Middle East and the security of the Zionist regime in the coming years,” Bennett said.

Sullivan, in turn, claimed: “I was asked to come here because, given a series of security issues, we are at a critical juncture for both sides and it is important that we sit together and come up with a common strategy, a common vision and a way out.” Find that basically guarantees your interests and ours.

This joint strategy is said to be the subject of the fourth Iran-Tel Aviv Strategic Dialogue on Iran.

Sullivan had previously met with Ishaq Herzog, during which the Israeli president claimed the need to prevent Iran from acquiring a nuclear weapon at any cost.

The White House National Security Adviser is on a three-day trip to the region.
