Taliban health minister’s visit to Iran

According to the correspondent of the Afghanistan site of Fars news agency, the Ministry of Health of the interim government of the Taliban announced that “Qalandar Ebad”, the health minister of this group, went to Iran on an official trip.
According to this ministry, Ebad traveled to Tehran to meet with Iran’s Minister of Health and discuss bilateral cooperation.
Health cooperation in various sectors, including improving the capacity of the cancer treatment institute in Afghanistan, is one of the goals of this trip.
The Ministry of Health of the Taliban has said that the Afghan immigrants in Iran, as well as the expansion and improvement of the capacity of the hospitals built by Iran in Bamyan and Kabul, will also be among the axes of this trip.
The Taliban health minister is supposed to participate in the G5 health conference in Iran.
