In the last 24 hours, Tehran’s average air quality index was at 115 (contaminated for sensitive groups).
According to the meteorological announcement, during the next two days, stable weather will prevail in most of the country’s regions, and due to the stability and stillness of the air, the concentration of atmospheric pollutants will increase in industrial cities, especially in Karaj, Tehran, Arak, and Isfahan, which will reduce the air quality of these areas. .
From the beginning of this year until today, 9 days of clean air, 183 days of acceptable air, 72 days of unhealthy air for sensitive groups and 10 days of unhealthy air for all groups have been recorded in the air pollution index of the capital city.
