According to the Mehr news agency, quoting the public relations of the Bushehr province registry office, Eskandar Pasalar in the working group on easy marriage, stating that the trend of marriage in the province has been declining during the years 90 to 99, said: In 1390, the general marriage rate in the province was 11. It has been 4 per thousand population, which has decreased to 5.8 in 1399.
He announced the general marriage rate of the province and the country in 1999 as 5.8 and 6.8, respectively, and added: Bushehr province is in the 27th place in terms of marriage.
The director general of Bushehr province registry office said: in the first six months of this year, 3,291 marriages have been registered in the province, which is a 9% decrease compared to the same period last year.
He noted that the average age of couples in first marriage for men and women is 28 and 23 years, respectively: this index is higher than the national average.
