The attorney general met with his Tajik counterpart

According to Fars News Agency, Attorney General Hojjat al-Islam wal-Muslimin Montazeri, who traveled to Moscow to attend the 300th anniversary of the establishment of the Prosecutor’s Office in Russia, met with the Attorney General of Tajikistan.

In this meeting, the Attorney General stressed the need for coherent cooperation between the judiciary of the two countries in the fight against organized crime, promoting cooperation between the two sides in civil, criminal and commercial cases through the Judicial Assistance Agreement, readiness to expand interaction and exchange judicial experience. Electronics, law reform, alternatives to imprisonment and the settlement of out-of-court disputes, arrangements for the transfer of prisoners to their home countries, and bilateral co-operation on human rights issues.
