The audience statistics of the online broadcast festival of ritual and traditional performances were announced
The Deputy Director General of the Performing Arts announced the statistics of the online broadcast audience of the 20th Festival of Ritual and Traditional Performances.
Theater News Base: The directors and officials of the Festival of Ritual and Traditional Plays in the twentieth edition of the event, due to the uncertainty of the conditions of the Corona virus epidemic, decided to broadcast the stage section and the eighth international seminar of the festival online through the theater and television system of Iran.
Mehdi Abdali, Deputy Director General of Performing Arts and Executive Secretary of the 20th Festival of Ritual and Traditional Plays, said about the number of spectators visiting the festival’s plays on the theater and television systems of Iran Theater: “25 plays were present in the stage section of the festival. They watched the plays through the Iran Theater TV system, and each seminar had an average of 50 visitors in this system.
He added: 5200 people also watched the performances of this period of the festival through the Tiwal system and the seminars had about 500 spectators.
Abdali said: The closing ceremony of the festival was held in the presence of spectators at Vahdat Hall, but it was broadcast live on the Iranian theater television system, and 385 people sat down to watch the closing ceremony of the event through the Iranian theater television system.
In the end, he stated: “According to this, a total of 11,310 people have watched the stage plays of the 20th Festival of Ritual and Traditional Plays online, and 550 people have watched the seminars of this event through 2 theater and television systems of Iran.”
The twentieth festival of ritual and traditional plays was held from 14 to 21 Azar under the auspices of Davood Fath Ali Beygi.
