According to the reporter of Mehr, Zulfiqari Desert Martyrs’ Memorial is one of the memorials of the holy defense period near Abadan, which hosts pilgrims not only during Nowruz, but also throughout the year.

This memorial was created because “Dasht Zulfiqari” was the host of the brave men of this land during the Holy Defense period, especially the fighters of the group of “Fadaiyan Islam” under the command of martyr “Syed Mojtabi Hashemi”.
