He said: Historians attribute hijab and covering to the Stone Age, and in many of the works and motifs obtained, the hijab is from the pre-religious era. Hijab is a symbol of women’s position in every culture and civilization. Women in the Middle East have and have a stronger cover than Western women, and this proves that people’s view of women in a country like Iran is different from that of Western countries.

A member of the Isfahan Islamic Council stated: Women’s hijab was also unique in the ancient world, in the Ghaznavid, Seljuk, and Khwarezmshah governments, women used a kind of mask that covers the whole body, which has attracted the attention of foreign tourists.

He added: In Christianity, women’s hijab has been obligatory, according to Christian scholars, it means to cover the body with hijab, which existed before the time of Christ. In the Jewish religion, historians have talked about the normality of hijab and even reported strictness in this regard.
Shariati clarified: Islam has a careful statement regarding the health of the individual and society. In social relations, hijab is the secret of health and one of the noble human values ​​that causes brilliant spiritual works, which can be considered as one of the foundations of morality to repel vices.

Hijab is a character to see instead of a person

He said: Hijab means to see the character instead of the person and to say no to all the undisguised and outward looking. Hijab is the sweet smell of chastity flowers and long human steps in the alleys of meanings.

Referring to the prevalence of non-communicable diseases, Shariati said: Today, non-communicable diseases such as diabetes and blood pressure, fatty liver, etc. have become more prevalent in the society and every year around 41 million people in the world die due to these diseases. . 17 million deaths due to these diseases occur under the age of 70.

Stating that non-communicable diseases have also increased in our society, he said: Isfahan’s urban administration has a population of about 15,000 people, and an investigation on the spread of non-communicable diseases in this population is going to be conducted. We hope that the result will be the reduction of non-communicable diseases among the workforce and their better performance.
