The call for the 17th Razavi National Theater Festival was published

According to Fars News Agency, Imam Reza International Cultural and Artistic Foundation (AS) with the participation of the Vice-Chancellor of Art Affairs of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance, the Art Zone of the Islamic Revolution, the Astan Quds Razavi Institute of Artistic Creations and the support of the General Department of Performing Arts and the General Departments of Culture and Islamic Guidance Provinces will hold the 17th Razavi National Theater Festival, focusing on the public performance of plays in the spring of 1403, at the same time as Badeh Karamet.

The call of this festival period is aimed at “spreading enlightened Razavi culture at the community level through the expansion of cultural and artistic activities”, “using the effective capacity of the theater in the direction of developing religious and Razavi education for the general audience” and “supporting artists in the field of religious theater in the country.” ” It has been published.

The topics emphasized in the call include: introducing the religious, social, economic and political aspects of Imam Reza’s (a.s.) personality, explaining Razavi’s culture and lifestyle and its impact on contemporary life, promoting Imam Reza’s (a.s.) philosophical and moral wisdom and teachings. Self-knowledge and God-knowledge from the perspective of Imam Reza (a.s.), accompanying people and creating vitality and dynamism in the society in the school of Razavi and Imams Athar (peace be upon them), taking advantage of the popular culture and rituals of Razavi in ​​different regions of the country, the relationship between religions and religions and people. Other nations have been declared with Imam Reza (a.s.) and Razavi culture and the personality and spiritual dimensions of Hazrat Masoumeh (a.s.).

The method of holding this period of the festival will be decentralized and centered on the public performance of the works. It is explained in the call: Using the capacities of the theater field and the aim of making the audience more accessible to the performances, the organizing staff will organize the festival in a decentralized manner, focusing on the performance of the works at the production site.

In this way, after the final evaluation of the applicant’s works, the secretariat will present 15 works as selected works and will conclude a cooperation agreement with the owners of the works for public performance between 10 and 15 times in the cities where they are produced.

According to the schedule of the secretariat, these groups will perform their works in the cities where they are produced. In addition to the stage performance (live), the film of the selected works will be shown during a schedule on Iran Theater TV so that all the fans and artists across the country have the opportunity to watch the works. The directors of these works will be honored at the closing of Imam Reza (AS) international festivals in Mashhad.

The notification of the festival is done through the Shamstoos website at Shamstoos.ir, and the registration and submission process is done through the Portal.Shamstoos.ir portal. According to the schedule of the festival, the deadline for submitting the proposed plays will be 5 December 1402 and the announcement of the results of the proposed texts will be 20 December 1402. The performance time of the selected groups is predicted from April 25 to May 25, 1403.
