Feature films that have a production or screening license from the Organization of Cinematic and Audio-Visual Affairs and have not been publicly screened before Bahman 1402 and have not been screened in on-demand screening systems online and national media, will be allowed to appear in this section. Note 1: All films of the national section, whose full version has been reviewed by the selection committee in the past, will not be allowed to participate.
Note 2: The jury judges all works eligible to participate in the festival, including professional films and directors’ first films, in all sections.
Note 3: The first filmmaker or director refers to an artist who has obtained the necessary and legal permits from the Organization of Cinematic and Audio-Visual Affairs to make or show his movie for the first time, and before that, his work as a movie It has not been released to the public.
Note 4: Judging in the animated film section will be conditional on the presence of at least two films in this format.
Note 5: Films applying for participation in the “Competition of Feature Documentary Films” must have a screening license from the Organization of Cinema Affairs and have been admitted to the competition section of the 17th edition of the Truth Cinema Festival and have a screening time of at least 75 minutes.
Note 6: Films applying for participation in the “Fictional Short Films Competition” section must have a screening license from the Cinema Affairs Organization and have entered the competition section of the 40th Tehran International Short Film Festival and have a screening duration of at least 3 and at most 20 minutes.
Note 7: If the director’s first film production (the first work) reaches an acceptable level in terms of quantity and quality, with the opinion of the policy making council, the New Look section will be added to the national section and the Crystal Simorgh statue will be awarded to the best first director. became.

Rules and regulations of the national sector:
All films applying for participation in any of the festival sections must register in the system (fajrfilmfestival.com).
The registration deadline will be from 08/01/1402 to 08/30/1402
Only real and legal producers can complete the registration process of their film by referring to the festival system and register and upload the information and documentation of the film (image of production or screening license). The producer of the film will be fully responsible for the correctness and accuracy of the information contained and its consequences. The secretariat of the festival is not allowed to accept films that do not have a production or screening license.
After completing the registration process, the producer of the film must deliver the full version of the film in the form of a standard technical screening file (DCP) to the festival secretariat for review by 09/15/1402.
The selection committee of the national competition will start reviewing the films applying for participation in the festival from 09/15/1402.
The selection committee of the national competition will announce the names of the selected films from among all the films eligible to participate in the festival by 15/10/1402 at the latest.
The producers of the selected films must submit the final version of the film with English subtitles and technical display standards (DCP), stage and director photos, posters, teasers, or a maximum of three minutes of their film for advertising use in the media, no later than 10/25/1402. Deliver to the secretariat. Registration in the system means accepting and fully complying with the provisions of the call and the regulations of the festival and the regulations of film production and screening in Iran, by the legal owners of the films.
If the final version of the film is not submitted to the festival secretariat by the scheduled date (10/25/1402), the name of the film will be replaced by the opinion of the secretary from the list of applicants for participation in the foreign festival and the film or films reserved by the selection board.
After announcing the opinion of the selection board and the selection of works to the festival, the producer will be present at the secretariat, see the recipe form and the rules for the work’s participation in the festival and undertake to comply with the rules and regulations contained in it, otherwise the reserved films will be replaced.
The jury of the festival will introduce the candidates for the awards no later than 24 hours before the final ceremony.
The screening of films in the festival will be in accordance with the rules and regulations of the Organization of Cinematic and Audio-Visual Affairs.
The instructions and conditions for the participation of cinemas applying to host the festival will be announced by the festival secretariat.
After deducting the expenses, the income from the screening of the films participating in the festival will be paid to the owner of the cinema and the owner of the film based on the ownership license.
The secretary of the festival is responsible for interpreting and clarifying the ambiguities of the provisions and regulations of the call and unforeseen issues.
